Original job description

At Hello World Recruitment, we specialize in identifying and offering top-tier Insurance Broker opportunities across North America.

We’re working with a respected brokerage in Markham looking to add a Personal Lines CSR with strong underwriting experience to their team. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to spot details others miss and genuinely enjoys client interaction.

3 Reasons To Apply

🔍 Put your underwriting knowledge to use – not just data entry, but real file review and risk assessment.

🏡 Hybrid work setup (3 days in-office) with a tight-knit, long-tenured team.

💼 Commission on both new business and renewals + company-paid benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

Review and assess applications before submission – accuracy and underwriting insight are key.
Service existing personal lines clients – policy changes, renewals, general inquiries.
Work directly in PowerBroker and carrier portals to manage and process files.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and great client outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

RIBO license is required.
3+ years in a personal lines role, preferably in a brokerage setting.
Familiarity with the major personal lines markets (Intact, Aviva, Economical, etc.) and how their portals work.
Comfort with PowerBroker

Why This Role Stands Out

The team has a reputation for low turnover and real growth. You’ll be supported but also trusted to own your work. If you’re looking for a place to grow your insurance career and not just clock in – this is worth a conversation.
